About Us
What We Are:
- Specialists in portrait photography.
- Relaxed – Our studio is a low pressure setting where we can create your unique portraits.
- Woman-owned.
- GLBT and Family of Choice / Poly friendly.
- Co-photographers – Charlie and Gregg work together on every shoot. By working together, we see good shots that would otherwise go uncaptured. We can also switch lighting and settings very quickly, which means that you can have more "looks" in your session.
- Flexible – We can shoot at our studio or at a location of your choosing. We will gladly travel within the Twin Cities Metro area, or further (including nationally) with prior notice.
- Supportive – We are here to help you look good and have fun.
- Collaborative – You are reason we're in business, and your input is what makes our work powerful. You can direct the session in any direction you want.
- Digital Photography Specialists.
What We Are NOT:
- We are Not Glamour Shots® – At Coppertone Studios, we treat each client differently. We focus on what makes you an individual. Our photo studio isn't a factory!
- Your average photo studio. Many studios have a standard set of poses, and trot them out on cue. We never know exactly what we'll be shooting until the time comes! We thrive on improvisation, and helping people make photos that are unique.
